Issue #0211/3 - Effective 1st September 2002, Hewlett-Packard announced price reductions of up to 36 percent, dramatically realigning European pricing on two high end consumer ink jet printers. The biggest price reductions, almost 36 percent, are on the DeskJet 995cxi in Switzerland while the lowest reduction on that model is still a massive 29.6 percent across a number of non-Euro currencies. Average reduction on the DeskJet 995cxi in the Euro zone is just over 30 percent, placing the price in most countries at 280 Euro.
