Issue #0411/4 - Ricoh has designed its new MFPs with a modular main-board that can be easily, quickly and relatively inexpensively upgraded to provide additional functionality such as print, fax and scan.
Named Ricoh GW Architecture, this follows in the footsteps of Konica Minolta’s launch of new DiALTA products during the autumn of 2003 with their ‘Central Imaging Platform’ (see TCPglobal Issue #0335).
