Xerox raises consumables pricing on many products

Issue #0426/3 - Following price reductions over the last year, these increases are not going to be welcomed.

Having made considerable reductions to consumables pricing over the last year or so, amounting to around 15%, Xerox in Europe has now increased pricing of many of its consumables products for some of its current and most of its discontinued, office mono and colour laser printer products by an average 5%.

Particular products suffering under this rise include the current single-pass A4 Phaser 6250 colour laser printer and A3 Phaser 7300 colour laser printer. In addition, price rises affect a number of discontinued SOHO mono laser products and ink jet products, together with many of the consumables products for discontinued solid ink printers, mono laser printers and colour laser printers, as follows:

Colour laser printers

Phaser 560, 740,750, 780, 790, 1235, 2135, 6200 and 7700 and the DocuColor 2006

Solid ink printers

Phaser 340/50/60 and 840, 850, 860 and 8200.

Mono laser printers

DocuPrint P1202, P1210, P8ex, 45xx series, N series, Phaser 3400, 4400,

Although average increases are around the 5% mark, there are slight variations between countries and products. Most increases fall within a range from 4.3% to 7.7%, with rises in the UK being, on the whole, slightly lower than those in the Euro zone.
