Issue #0728/3 - Rolling out into stores in a manner that is difficult for the shopper to ignore, Hewlett-Packard’s packaging re-invention comes to life.

Following the announcement by Hewlett-Packard in the early summer that its entire inkjet range would undergo a redefinition (Issue #0714 "It’s the RGB revolution! You choose, Hewlett-Packard supplies."), we are now seeing the new packs in-store with space taken up by banner display materials to ensure that users are aware of the change and what it means.

Issue #0727/3 - Epson thin film piezo print head is capable of 40ppm in draft mode.

Within the article on Epson’s new inkjet print head in last week’s issue of TCPglobal "Epson announces new, faster inkjet", we stated that the fastest print speed achievable by the engine was 37ppm – 1ppm faster than Hewlett-Packard’s current maximum.
