Issue #0540/1 - At first glance a low cost inkjet printer might seem to be a great bargain as a Christmas present. But, is it really the bargain it seems?

Issue #0539/1 - Low cost but expensive, Dell’s E340/E342n range can’t hold a candle to any other printer in its group on cost, especially Dell’s 1710 but neither represent best value for money when printing significant volumes.

Issue #0539/2 - Expensive to operate, neither printer presents as a low cost option but Lexmark’s T640 has flexible paper handling options.

In the next category, Lexmark’s T640 and Xerox’s Phaser 3500 sit at a 33ppm print speed within a group of competing printers offering print speeds between 33ppm and 35ppm.

Issue #0539/3 - Two models just causes confusion but extensive paper handling options makes the T644 a contender despite slightly higher costs.

At the top end of the scale for A4 printers, the Lexmark T642 and T644 present 43ppm and 47ppm print speeds respectively. Considering that the two printers are essentially identical, why there is a need for two different printer models with such similar print speeds is not clear.
