Interesting timing sees news breaking this week regarding proposals prepared by the European Commission concerning filing of patents that would actually have made it more difficult for design and manufacturing companies to obtain high levels of patent protection on their products.

As if to emphasise the previous article (please note that this article was written before seeing the reports referred to), Dell’s printer marketing activities have taken a turn frequently reserved for products with stock levels that are too high and not clearing fast enough.
