Issue #0433/3 - Dell’s pricing magic doesn’t work everywhere but the new dye-sublimation printer is a Dell exclusive.

While dropping its single function inkjet printers from its line-up, Dell is increasing its focus on photo printing as it introduces two new devices to its printer range. These are a dedicated 10×15cm format photo printer and a new Photo All-in-One device.

Issue #0432/2 - Errors in the original price lists for consumables products in EMEA have prompted Hewlett-Packard to reissue the list.

Since publishing TCPglobal Issue #0431 - "Exchange rates push Hewlett-Packard consumables prices up in the UK by up to 10%", Hewlett-Packard has contact us with a revised price list for its consumables products, informing us that there was an error on the original price lists released last week.

Issue #0431/1 - A continuing slide in exchange rate against the Euro since the early part of August has caused Hewlett-Packard to raise prices on many of its supplies products in the UK. This follows only a month after the company further reduced its prices, by a couple of percent, for the fourth time in seven months following several months of relative stability on the money markets. The continuing stability of the Euro against the US Dollar means that the majority of prices across the rest of Europe are unchanged.
