Issue #0424/2 - Canon’s new range of photo printers and All-in-Ones are impressive pieces of kit. Designs are new and innovative and features point towards flexible performance. But, nominally, they look expensive to run.

Canon has launched a new range of inkjet printers using innovative industrial design concepts and further advancements in technology and driver functionality.

Issue #0423/1 - New scanners from both Epson and Hewlett-Packard, and Hewlett-Packard agreement with eBay, demonstrate printer manufacturer’s eagerness to encourage us to print as much as possible.

In their enthusiasm to encourage us all to print as much as they possibly can, printer manufacturers are coming up with a string of aids, reasons and motivations for us to print pages that we may otherwise not have printed.

Issue #0423/2 - Yield testing standard is sure to be adopted by at least most manufacturers in due time but manufacturers must be completely transparent about their quoted figures during the adoption and education period.

It is now a little over three weeks since the publication of the new standard for testing mono toner yield, ISO 19752. What progress has there been regarding adoption?
