Issue #0421/1 - In 1994 the EPMI (European Printer Manufacturer’s and Importers association published recommendations for toner yield testing. These were never adopted. Now, a decade later, the ISO (International Standards Organisation) has issued a standard that is receiving widespread support.

As Xerox launches the new WorkCentre M20/M20i desktop MFPs in Europe, pricing for these new models is more aggressive than on other Xerox models in Europe.

Hewlett-Packard has launched two new colour laser printers with enhanced print quality – one with a 50% price reduction, to sub $500, and the other pushing print speed from 16ppm to 22ppm.
