Kodak Printer Dock dye sublimation is sharper than and smoother inkjet

Issue #0419/1 - Close comparison of 10×15 prints reveals that dye sublimation provides the highest photo quality but that proprietary inkjet media is most likely to produce best results.

Prints from the Kodak Printer Dock, with its dye sublimation (thermal dye) technology are sharper than prints from ink jet printers. Images are also less grainy and with smoother tonal gradation – but are relatively expensive.

Issue #0419/2 - New Aficio 1515 “goes against the grain” as Ricoh joins other manufacturers with pre-configured MFPs.

Whereas multifunction devices from copier manufacturers traditionally have been presented to the market essentially as modular devices, with the print functionality almost never included as standard, Ricoh has now taken the step of offering four pre-configured devices ranging from straight copier to fully configured MFP.

This week, TCPglobal celebrates its second anniversary! It seems like yesterday that we celebrated the first anniversary and only the day before that we started!
