Xerox was very upbeat this week when announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2003. The main message is that the company is exceeding expectations and has succeeded in positioning itself for real growth within the coming 12 months.

When Samsung told me in November that it had no plans to introduce an MFP version of its ultra low-end colour laser printer, the CLP500, I had no expectation of seeing just such a machine on the market within a couple of months!
