Analogue bows out for Ricoh with introduction of Aficio 1113 digital copier

Ricoh, one of the leaders in the copier market, has discontinued its last two analogue copier products this week. Replacing them with the Aficio 1113, Ricoh makes the statement that “today’s solutions … offer a level of functionality way above that of analogue devices”.

Kyocera Mita’s new KM-1500 copier is described as the “smallest and lightest machine in its class”. Small and light it may be physically, and running costs are certainly much lower than any other machine in its class, but light on the pocket at time of purchase it is not.
