Paper handling – mailing costs

Issue #0319/1 - Handling of paper has been established as being a constituent of Total Cost of Printing in several issues of TCPglobal over the last year and also in the report ‘The Importance of Total Cost of Ownership in a world of Digital Convergence’. Normally concerned with products that produce marks on paper, the OfficeRight DI200 folder/inserter from Pitney Bowes came to our attention this week and, as it appears to be unique in the office sector, successfully argued its way into TCPglobal!

Issue #0319/2 - Joining the Epson C1900WiFi, Samsung’s ML2100W, and Hewlett-Packard’s wireless printing options, Ricoh has announced a new mono laser printer and an office colour laser printer, both with WiFi and Bluetooth networking capability.

With a print speed of 26ppm, the new AP2610N mono laser printer has a price tag of UKP 1,299 (EUR 1,810 / USD 2,130).
