Canon challenges Hewlett-Packard with good-looking portability
Friday, March 7th, 2003 - Posted in Comparisons | No Comments »Issue #0309/5 - Canon has announced a new portable printer with attractive packaging (looking remarkably similar in design to the DeskJet 450 from Hewlett-Packard) that is claimed to be 40 percent smaller than it’s contemporaries - Bubble Jet i70. With dimensions of 317mm wide by 174mm deep by 51.8mm tall, the Canon Bubble Jet i70 is 38.9 percent smaller on volume than the DeskJet 450 without battery. Weight is comparable to the DJ450’s at 1.8 kg.
